It's free swatch day over at Spoonflower! Spoonflower is a wonderful print on demand fabric company where you can create your own custom fabrics or shop their marketplace which is FILLED with cute, beautiful and artistic designs.

From noon EST today (Thursday - August 26, 2010) until noon EST tomorrow (Friday - August 27, 2010) you can pick up one free 8"x8" swatch of fabric that you create yourself (or choose from their marketplace) with free shipping! These usually retail for $5.

A Year of Wired Magazine for $3!

According to Gizmodo you can get a year's subscription to Wired magazine for $3 if you enter the code "FD-WIRED" at the checkout at DiscountMags. I don't know if this works but after skimming the 142 comments about this on SlickDeals it seems promising and I've seen a lot of reassuring comments about no auto renewals or fishy things like that but as always caveat emptor (let the buyer beware), ladies and gentleman.
You can also get a deep discount on Maxim, Men's Health, Car and Driver and Men's Journal as well (through SlickDeals).
If anyone has any success with this I'd be thrilled if you'd let me know!
