Ice Cream Scoop and Stack

I don't think scooping ice cream can get much easier than this! This Ice Cream Scoop & Stack gadget makes cylindrical blocks of ice cream that are perfect for stacking onto ice cream cones. I remember dreaming about ice cream cones that were 6 or 8 scoops high when I was a kid but only ever saw people with at the most 4 (and that looked awfully dangerous). I'm pretty sure 6 scoops or more could be achieved with this tool and it would probably be safer though holding it up might be a challenge!

iPhone Cupcakes

These tiny iPhone cupcakes are very detailed, cute and colorful! I think anyone would want to gobble these up whether they're a fan of the iPhone or not! These cupcakes were created by Nick Bilton and Danielle Bilton.

Playskool's Kota My Triceratops Dinosaur Toy

Playskool's Kota My Triceratops Dinosaur is an animatronic dinosaur toy that makes sounds and is programmed to make some movements (and while it is strong enough to hold a small child it won't actually go anywhere) and also responds to your voice and touch. Even though it's obviously being marketed to kids (or parents, really) I kind of want one. My heart is warmed by the fact that Kota brings me one step closer to my own rideable robotic dinosaur. Yeehaw!

Drip Clips Paperclips Organizer

I've never really known what to do with my paperclips so I've always just kept them in the cheap package that they're sold in. I'm not sure I want to do that anymore now that I've found this. This Drip Clips paperclip organizer keeps all of the waterdrop shaped drip paperclips together in it's creative sink design complete with realistic faucet details.

Fighting Dashboard Ninjas

Instead of getting a hula girl why not consider these fighting dashboard ninjas to decorate the dashboard of your car? These ninjas carry on an epic battle while you watch the road...yes, watch the road, don't watch the ninjas.

Milk Gone Bad Lamps

When the lamp is turned off these Milk Gone Bad Lamps appear to be just a normal white milk carton (well, normal except for the fact that it's a lamp). Upon turning it on you discover that it's not so ordinary after all! When it's lit you can see a fun and fantastic world inside that's populated by cute, cartoony characters. "Gone Bad"? Maybe...but they're still so good!

Pumpkin Spice Teapot Necklace

It's October now and with the weather getting chilly and just generally dreary it would be nice to be able to wear some jewelry that would always make me feel warm and cozy. This pumpkin spice teapot necklace might do just that! It's beautiful and it was made by LycheeKiss on Etsy!

Halloween Bentos by luckysundae

These amazing halloween bentos were made by luckysundae on flickr! These are almost too cute to eat, especially that adorable black cat and skull face onigiri (looks a lot like Jack Skellington from The Nightmare Before Christmas!) and the hanpen ghost with the frightened expression on its face!

Dead Celebrities Font Art

These font celebrities (Charlie Chaplin and James Dean pictured below) are pretty interesting and if you look long enough you start to see some font details you may not have noticed at first glance. There's also a font Marilyn Monroe and a Marlon Brando if you're interested in looking at the post at Walyou!

Rob Ives Papercraft Animation Models

These 3D animated paper models look like they would be a lot of fun to make! When they're complete each one becomes a fun little desk toy that moves by turning the crank on the side of it. This kit includes the skiiing sheep, grumpy goat, pecking chickens, "cat walk" the walking cat, Jungle Jim (a gorilla beating his chest) and Paperoo (a kangaroo that jumps).
All of these wondrous things were created by Rob Ives and are for sale at Flying Pig and kikkerland!

Andy Warhol Plush Toy

This Andy Warhol Plush Toy was created by MyLittleOogaBooga on Etsy! Whether you love him or hate him, it can't be denied that Andy Warhol changed the art world and I think this plush doll is a really interesting and fun tribute to the man. Check out that hair! Isn't it fantastic?

Fish and Ghost Computer Mouse by Pat Says Now

Pat Says Now has quite a few creative mouse designs like the ones below as well as pirate designs, a ladybug, a cat, a dog and a strawberry a chili pepper and more in their online store.

Project Wonderful

I've recently started using Project Wonderful for my advertising needs so if you've happened by before and you're now seeing ads where there used to be empty spaces then that's why!

Here's the scoop: I'm currently trying to ramp up my advertising for my pet project, my shop so that I can continue to make it grow and flourish and blossom into the beautiful, majestic flower that I know it can be. (*cough--cheesy*) In order to do this I've decided to participate in Project Wonderful by placing these ad spaces on my site and whatever pennies I pull in will be thrown back into the pot so that I can advertise my own shop on other people's sites. There's a little bit of give and take here and it seems really nice so far.
I've been seeking an advertising option that's completely self sustaining since I don't have a whole lot of money to invest back into my business at this point and this seems ideal.

With Project Wonderful I've made enough to launch a small ad campaign so I'm quite happy with the results so far!

As a small and completely unexpected side effect of using Project Wonderful I've been exposed to some webcomics and other sites that I probably wouldn't have found otherwise and since I'm a netjunkie I've been enjoying having the cool sites come straight to where I roost! Don't worry, I won't get too lazy because I'm still obsessively crawling the web to find a lot of other fun, geeky, crafty, arty, design goodies to share (because you know I love sharing).

I have to admit that if the content of the advertisers' sites was 90% junk, I would probably wipe the ads from the site and explore other options but at this point I'm seeing some pretty quality stuff and that's quite reassuring!

Would I recommend Project Wonderful to others who want to promote their sites and pet projects? Absolutely! It's actually been a lot of fun for me and those with an adventurous advertising spirit might just fall in love with it too!

(I hate making posts that are text only so I'm including the awesome photo below that was taken by Wade Griffith. I'm kind of in love with it and you can buy prints of it here!)

Mystery Machine Cake

This awesome Mystery Machine Cake straight out of Scooby Doo was made by Debbie from Debbie Does Cakes! With halloween just around the corner I couldn't resist the opportunity to reminisce about one of my favorite (slightly) spooky cartoons and I can't think of a better tribute than this incredibly detailed cake. I wonder if it tastes like Scooby Snacks...
