These bowls by Studiobo have a little sinking ship or airplane built into the ceramic bowl design. If dinner is practically a disaster for you on a regular basis perhaps you should just give in and buy one of these?

Jumping Brain Limited Edition Toy
These Jumping Brain limited edition toys are very cool and I can't remember the last time I was so interested in a figure! They're currently listed as being "now in production" at Jumpingbrain.org. These work-in-progress pics are from Toysrevil.

Jurassic Amber Soap
This Jurassic Amber Soap by amberlouise on Etsy looks just like amber complete with a little fake insect trapped inside! The scent sounds like it would be gorgeous too (bay rum, bergamot and citrus with bay leaves and labdanum).

Twilight Movie Designs
The Twilight movie based on Stephenie Meyer's popular book series has been released today! Lucky me, I've been given permission to create some official fan merchandise for the series so I'm kind of going nuts over here.
If you're not familiar with the Twilight series, it's a wonderful series of books with a vampire theme and I highly recommend it!
You will see many a Twilight design come out of me in the next few weeks! You can click below to see what I have so far and you can also check out the individual designs I'll be posting about in the coming days.

Animated Train Pocket Watch
This may look like an ordinary pocket watch from the outside but on the inside it's also a musicbox that has two trains that run around the watch face. It's pretty neat and it's only $49.95 from Wireless.

Sandhi Schimmel's Recycled Art
These beautiful mosaic portraits were made out of recycled print ads by the talented artist Sandhi Schimmel. I love the interesting color choices she's made for these pieces.

Nightmare Before Christmas Ceramic Storage Jars
These 3 Nightmare Before Christmas ceramic storage jars are just the thing to store your more dreadful kitchen goodies in! If you don't have any deadly nightshade, frog's breath and worm's wort then I guess you could put your cookies in there. :)

3D Doodle Kit
This is the INCREDIBLE 3D Doodle Kit! It comes with a compass-style apparatus and red and blue pencils that allow you to make cool looking 3D drawings that you can then view with 3D glasses (that also come with it). Okay, it's a little cheesy but I think it would be pretty fun and would probably make a good stocking stuffer for the artist in your life.

Waking At The Carnival
Waking At The Carnival is a side project that I'm working on...actually, it's just a personal blog where I'll be posting about music that I've enjoyed recently. I've been meaning to make a music blog for the longest time and I finally came to the conclusion that if I had done it when I was originally thinking of making it I would have 40 posts by now.
Procrastination, argh.
There isn't a whole lot to see here just yet but it will slowly grow with me.

Visible Sound Project
The Visible Sound Project was developed by the interactive design group SOUNDS.BUTTER. This sewing machine concept would "hear" sounds and then create a zigzag stitched pattern to go with the soundwaves.
Wouldn't it be fun to wear your favorite song on a shirt?

Harajuku Lovers Fragrances
I recently got my hands on some of the Harajuku Lovers fragrances by Gwen Stefani and I have to say that I really love them! This is a short review of each of the fragrances that I got to sample with a short description of the scent and why I like it.
Music - This one is my favorite of the whole bunch! It's absolutely amazing and forgive my flowery description of it but...it really smells like rain falling on fruit trees (maybe pear trees). It reminds me of the fresh smell of summer after a light rain fall. I love it!
Baby - The Baby fragrance is soft and sweet and definitely has a light baby powder smell. It reminds me slightly of Love's Baby Soft so if you like that one then I'm willing to bet you'll love this one.
G - I can really smell the freesia in this one. This is a more sophisticated scent and I found it to be pretty strong. Maybe a little too strong for me.
Lil' Angel - Young and flirty! Definitely a sweet and fruity fragrance. I think this one's name really suits it.
Love - This one smells the most "floral" to me. It's pretty and light. I could see this being a nice everyday sort of fragrance.
I think the real beauty of the Harajuku Girls fragrances is that they've taken the time to develop little kawaii characters with original personalities that match each scent as you can see in the pictures below. Very cute and very original.
You can visit the official site to find out more about the Harajuku Girls fragrances!
