When I was a kid there was this game where there was a T-Rex skeleton without ribs and stuff, and the object of the game was to put progressively more rib bones on the skeleton without upsetting it and causing it to roar and make a bunch of noise. I used to take the "spine" with the head attached and use it as a makeshift spoon. It looked a lot like this, but not as good. :D
