Home Stuff

Retro Diner Plates:
The bear honey plate cracks me up. I feel like there should be some red gingham in there somewhere though.

The Airyusha Robotan toilet paper holder:
I can't decide whether this is cute or creepy. I'd say cute if it was going to be in any other area of my house but I don't think I'd appreciate having those hollow robot eyes staring at me when I'm all...vulnerable. :P
I think I'd eventually get over it.

Steampunk Tree House

"STEAMPUNK TREE HOUSE is essentially a metal tree with a wood and metal house perched within its branches. The house component will be accessible via a ladder system on the exterior of the trunk but contained with in the greater diameter skin of the tree."

Toki Doki Skate Decks

Toki Doki makes these gorgeous skate decks. Maybe I'm just sick and twisted but the one with the bunny skewered on the katana with the ninja star sticking out of its head is my favorite.

They also make this cute koi t-shirt.

Katamari Damacy Cake

Great, now I have one of the katamari songs stuck in my head. This Katamari Damacy cake by rakkadeer is really amazing though so it's worth it. See the instructable on how to make it yourself!

And if you make one, save me a piece?

Anime and Cartoon Lists

(1) All I ever learned, I learned from anime

"18. Honor is sexy; villainy is irresistible."
(2) 100 Rules of Anime
"#37- Law of Extradimensional Capacitance- All anime females have an extrasdimensional storage space of variable volume somewhere on their person from
which they can instantly retrieve any object at a moment’s notice. This mysterious dimension is commonly called "Malletspace".

First Corollary (AKA The Hammer Rule)- The most common item stored is a heavy mallet, costumes/uniforms, power suits/armor, and large bazookas."
(3) Observations on hair color in anime and manga

(4) The 10 Most Insane, Child-Warping Moments of '80s Cartoons
"...Thundercats pushed the envelope a little more with its first episode, in which all of the title characters arrive on their new homeworld stark naked. Yes, even Cheetara. Granted, there were no nipples showing anywhere, and the show might’ve even passed the lack of clothing off as natural; after all, they’re animals, right? Not really, no. Later in the episode, every Thundercat save Snarf puts on clothing, making it quite apparent that all of them were, in fact, completely naked just a few scenes ago."

Cardboard Nintendo

I love these! These are made out of cardboard and you can see the corrugated inner part of it acting as part of the design. This post and this post have more if you want to see them.
