Band Geek Hero

These Band Geek Hero shirts are a fantastic parody of the Guitar Hero franchise. They have shirts for all of the typical band instruments (that I can think of) plus some really surprising and funny choices. I love these shirts!

Umbuster

The Umbuster is a combination knuckle duster and umbrella! Can we have a brass Umbuster, please?

The Umbuster has been classified a Class 5 weapon by good and upright men and women of the Victorian Police.

This vintage brass love meter necklace with a spinner was made by Envisage on Etsy! I love unique brass jewelry and this is definitely a beautiful piece.

Jets

These planes are from Ace Combat 6:Fires of Liberation. After seeing them on Dark Roasted Blend today I had to share!

There is something about the huge eyes and batting eyelashes of cute manga girls that just might shock the enemy into a sensory overload and total love-struck submission.

Sitooterie II

Meet the Sitooterie II by Heatherwick Studio! It's really an incredible structure.

The structure is a cube punctured by over 5000 long thin windows that project from all its surfaces and lift it off the ground. The cube, which measures 2.4 x 2.4 metres, is precision-machined from 15mm anodised aluminium and the windows are 18mm square-section aluminium tubes glazed with transparent orange acrylic.
As the long thin windows all point at the exact centre of the cube, it only takes a single light source, located at this central point, to send light through every tube, causing the windows to glow orange. A small number of them also project into the cube to form seating.

If you want to find out more about Heatherwick Studio click here! They've done a lot of really amazing projects.

Leave Doormat

Here's a doormat that's perfect for hermits like me (or for people with a good sense of humor as well). This doormat says "Leave" so you can tell people how you feel about visitors without saying a word (though you should remember to tell the select few people who are welcome to ignore it).
It's on clearance at Bed Bath & Beyond right now for $10.99 so it would be a good time to pick one up!
