It's been a while since I made a post that doesn't include any pictures so I thought I'd make a quick one today that celebrates the joy of text.
Here are a couple of really fun sites for those who love words...
Save The Words: http://savethewords.org
Save The Words invites you to adopt a word that's practically been dropped from the english language. What do you do once you adopt it?
Spread the word about your word, of course!
Words like bumposopher, squiriferous and volgivagant are waiting for you to resurrect them.
Wordie: http://wordie.org
"Wordie lets you make lists of words and phrases. Words you love, words you hate, words on a given topic, whatever."
The Phrontistery: http://phrontistery.info
The Phrontistery is home to some useful (and interesting) word resources including the International House of Logorrhea (a free online dictionary of weird and unusual words) and the Compendium of Lost Words (a list of rare modern english words).
Enjoy!

I'm really glad you enjoyed it!
*secret wordie handshake*
It seems like I'm in a word rut these days. I really need to start making use of more unusual words!
