Fresh Apple Retro Girl T-Shirts and Gifts

Here's a design that was so much fun to make! It's definitely become one of my favorites now.

This fresh and cute apple retro girl illustration features a woman with beautiful purple hair, a vibrant orange bowtie, and a bright pink shirt showing her appreciation for nature by holding a juicy green granny smith apple! This fun vintage pinup inspired art is adorable and kitschy making it the perfect gift to buy for a teacher, a vegetarian, vegan, fruitarian or anyone who loves the 50's, kitsch, the environment, nature and original funky artwork!

As usual, this sweet retro girl design is available on a tshirt, sweatshirt, hoodie, tank top, kids shirts, baby tees, greeting cards, postcards, stickers, mug, mousepad, magnet, button, keychain, apron, hat, neck tie, tote bag and many more great gift ideas!

Shot Carver

Got an apple? That apple could easily become a shot glass with this shot glass carver! It seems like you can use other fruits as well like pears or even use it to infuse a watermelon with alcohol.

Fruit Lockets

These fruit lockets from modcloth are cute, sweet and stylish. They remind me of an adult version of some jewelry that I had when I was a kid and of course they've retained all of the fun and playfulness of the original pieces. I think they'd make a cute gift for Valentine's Day or Mother's Day...insert pictures of loved ones and voilà!

René Magritte - The Son of Man Necklace

This polymer clay necklace by skybluebunny was inspired by the painting The Son of Man by René Magritte and I have to give credit where credit is due...this is one lovely necklace and a fantastic idea!

Sarah Coventry Pins

I don't make many posts about vintage jewelry but I felt that I should after finding these beautiful Sarah Coventry pins. Below is a lucite apple pin (c. 1950) and a "nature's pearl" brooch. I couldn't find a really decent page about the history of Sarah Coventry jewelry but here's a link to their "story" from their site. It seems that women would sell Sarah Coventry jewelry from their homes (like Avon, Mary Kay, etc.) from 1949-1984.
