Thunderpanda Troops

These Thunderpanda Troops papercraft toys are completely free and available for download at thunderpanda.com! They're all so great but I think Lemi is my favorite (but only by a small margin!).

Cocktail Chemistry Set

This Cocktail Chemistry Set is incredibly cool with its flask and test tubes marked with biohazard and radiation symbols and I'm sure amateur mixologists and science geeks alike would love to own it. I know I want one! I'm sad to see that this Cocktail Chemistry Set is currently out of stock at Perpetualkid.com but hopefully it will be available soon!

Pushing Daisies: The End of the Road?

I rarely talk about anything TV related on this blog but I want to take a moment to sing the praises of my favorite show, Pushing Daisies. There are few television shows that keep my attention with intelligent characters and clever plotlines like this one has and Bryan Fuller, the creator of this show has also created two other series that I've enjoyed just as much (Dead Like Me and Wonderfalls).

Death Stalks ABC's 'Pushing Daisies'

According to several articles I've been reading online Pushing Daisies may be facing cancellation and I can't let that happen without doing all I can to show my support for the show. (Yes, I'm hopelessly addicted.)

What can you do to help save Pushing Daisies?
Tune in on November 19th! It's been on hiatus for a couple of weeks now but it looks like there's an episode airing on the 19th on ABC. If you like the show or if you're just curious and want to see what it's about, now is the time to watch!
If you live in the US, you can also watch some of the episodes online on the Pushing Daisies homepage.

Check out this thread on the official messageboard for online petitions and details about a letter writing campaign.

Orientales Collection

These beautifully designed Orientales items were created by Stefano Giovannoni and Rumiko Takeda in collaboration with the National Palace Museum Taiwan. In the Orientales collection you'll find the most beautiful creatures and plants transformed into egg cups, plates, salt and pepper shakers, sugar bowls and creamers while still maintaining their true form. You can find many items in this collection at Unica Home.

Dough-Nu-Matic Automatic Doughnut Machine

Here's a fun toy to play with! This automatic doughnut machine makes mini doughnuts in under a minute so this would be great if you have kids or grandkids who want to make things but are a little impatient. I'm sure they'd be a ton of fun to decorate!

The R2-D2 Aquarium

This R2D2 Aquarium not only looks like R2D2 (except for the fishtank stomach, of course) but he makes R2D2 sounds as well and has some pretty cool red, green and blue overhead LED tank lights . Oh, here's the best part! He also has a built in periscope that allows you an "intimate view of the aquatic activity below".
