Cavallini Decorative Gift Wrap from Paper Presentation

I'm really digging these cavallini wrapping paper designs from Paper Presentation. 'Tis the season to be wrapping lots of presents so I thought I'd share these with those of you who love vintage designs as much as I do!

A Good Oldfashioned Snowball Fight!

This magnificent snowball fight picture was taken by Doug Kim during an impromptu snowball fight at Times Square in New York on December 19, 2009! I couldn't resist posting about this because you really need to check out this photo set! It's brilliant and it's making me love snow again.
You can also purchase prints of his Blizzard 2009 photos over on SmugMug!

New York City in a Bag by MUJI

Wooden toys and models are wonderful and this New York City in a Bag set by Muji from the Museum of Modern Art store is a great example of an awesome wooden model set!

Included are New York City icons such as MoMA's original 1939 building, the Empire State Building, the Chrysler Building, the Statue of Liberty, and the Guggenheim Museum.

Penny For Your Thoughts?

I was just browsing through NOTCOT and saw this amazing post!
This floor of pennies is one of the features of The Standard Grill in the Standard Hotel New York.
Certainly a very interesting design idea!
