A Good Oldfashioned Snowball Fight!

This magnificent snowball fight picture was taken by Doug Kim during an impromptu snowball fight at Times Square in New York on December 19, 2009! I couldn't resist posting about this because you really need to check out this photo set! It's brilliant and it's making me love snow again.
You can also purchase prints of his Blizzard 2009 photos over on SmugMug!

Polaroid Photo Mirror

Smile! Here's a mirror for anyone who has a thing for Polaroid cameras and photos (I should dig mine out sometime). I was sad when it became nearly impossible to get film for mine but this is a way to get some of that Polaroid picture love back every morning!

Fallen Princesses by Dina Goldstein

Fallen Princesses is an irresistable set of photos that feature classic fairytale characters by Dina Goldstein. You can see by the pictures below that these princesses don't always end up with happily ever afters but all of the photos are intriguing and beautiful. Check out the Fallen Princesses gallery here!

Lightning

I love storms and lately I've been totally enamored with big, crashing, fierce thunder and lightning storms. We don't get them often though this spring we've had a whole lot of rainy days.
I like the dark blue mornings after a particularly wet night a whole lot.
Anyhow, the other day I came across this post on Dark Roasted Blend with an amazing collection of lightning strike photos! I thought they were incredibly cool. Enjoy!

Extravagant Cakes

This Royal Cakes post on Zuza Fun was really interesting to me and I thought it would be a good follow-up to the post about the Gold Bullion Wireless Mouse. Some of these cakes are taller than I am!

Spider Webs

Dark Roasted Blend has a fascinating article about spider webs that's packed with extraordinary photos! I must warn you though that if spiders make you a little queasy, some of the photos of the giant communal webs might make you a little green!
The photos below are two of my favorites from the article and the images lead to the flickr pages of their photographers.

Tattoos

This beautiful photo was taken by furcafe. This scene is really great and I adore the angle it was taken from.
Here's another from the same set!
